Question: what is your favourite star?

I would have to say (perhaps boringly) the Sun. I’ll explain why: without the Sun there would be most likely no life on Earth. The entire animal food chain is sourced by the Sun’s energy which is consumed by plants, which is then eaten by insects and other animals. Then those consumers are preyed on by predators and so forth. There are some single celled organisms that live deep in to the Earth’s ocean which could maybe survive without the Sun, however Earth would be a very dull, rocky, icy place if it wasn’t for my favourite star!
