Thank you for this question, it’s a good one. So at the moment I’m working on a piece of code that can help analyse future galaxy observations. If you input some physical parameters into my code (say the amount of dark energy, dark matter or the age of the universe), it will spit out an approximation for where it thinks all the galaxies should be in the sky. When we compare this simulated data with what we observe in real life, we can make judgements about what the physical parameters are in the real world. If this code is used by many cosmologists, I will be happy!
