      I think it’s an excellent ambition, lots of useful technology will be developed when trying to pursue a mission like this. That said, it’s also very important to realise that in all likelihood, colonising mars will not solve issues around global warming – we can’t just throw away this planet. We have one planet, we should first and foremost respect it because we could potentially cause irreversible damage.
