I would recommend taking subjects that you are interested in as you are more likely to engage with the subject and learning, gaining better marks. Also look at what will be most useful for what you would like to do in the future. I would recommend taking STEM subjects such as Computer Science etc. There are increasingly more jobs which are in high tech industry, with information technology and some forms of scientific research. But overall my best advice is to take the subjects you are interested in, I didn’t do very well in the subjects I hated. Make sure the decision is best for you.

I would choose history, but only because I absolutely love history. Do you want to go to Spain, or work in Spain? Do you really like languages? If so, you might want to study Spanish instead. There’s no right or wrong answer – you have to do what’s right for you.

Both choices sound very interesting. I don’t think there is a wrong or right answer here, but in general I believe it’s important for everyone to learn new languages. I think learning a different language helps you think in a different way and it’s a very valuable skill.
