Question: how many hours do you work a day?

Officially I work 8hours per day. However some times I work a bit more on one day and a bit less on another day. Some times I don’t continuously work for 8 hours. I often take a break to play Foosball with my friends at work, or Frisbee (during summer).

Similar to Sreejita, I officially work 8 hours per day but it really depends on the day! I organize my own work so I can be flexible and change my schedule depending on what I want to do. For example I can take time off to visit schools or put some hours of the day aside for ‘I’m a scientist’. I also try to keep my weekends totally work-free, I don’t even look at my emails unless something really important is coming up.

It depends on the day, there is no set time. I just need to work 37 hours in a week.

For my work there is no official amount of hours in a day, but we have to work 37 hours in a week. This works out about 7.4 hours a day.

I work roughly 9 to 5 every day.

I work roughly 9 to 5 each day, sometimes less. If I work from home I work 8 to 3.
